Message From The President And Chairman Of The Board

We took cognizance on the advantage of our archipelagic configuration and strategic location by using our synergy of islands, people, natural resources, and surrounding seas which explicitly depict a seemingly Eden of the Far East. Our seven thousand one hundred (7,100) islands and islets are surrounded by water: the South China Sea in the east and the vast Pacific Ocean in the west, each interconnecting with one another through the Batanes Strait in the north and Celebes Sea in the south.

Needless to say, the most convenient and least expensive way of traveling from one island to another is by sea. Ships have become the most convenient transporter of people, goods, and more particularly heavy machineries and equipment as well as bulky products. Many Filipinos being in-born with this aspect of life, are fully aware of life at sea. To be more knowledgeable, particularly on the approach, both academically and scientifically, schools for Maritime Studies and Training Centers were established and recognized by the government to train the youths who are interested in pursuing a career to become professional and licensed seafarers. To-date we are proud to say that 350,000 Filipino seafarers are employed by foreign principals on-board their commercial vessels, and our country contributes a tremendous workforce to the International Maritime Industry.

All vessel owners and Principals require competent and efficient crew who shall be tasked with specific functions in their vessels. On this premise, we pride ourselves in serving our Principals to the highest degree of efficiency and professionalism plus the Filipino mentality of adaptability and flexibility to the latest trends in worldwide seafaring. Language barriers are never a problem because of our seafarers' proficiency in the English language, both written and oral.

Above all, our company, Super Manning Agency, Inc. always adheres to the requirements imposed by the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA), the Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA), the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), and other government agencies and instrumentalities, assuring that our seafarers meet all the necessary requirements as well as legal documents, knowledge, experience, and expertise and leave our country with pride and dignity. Moreover, we are in strict compliance with Standards for Training, Certification and Watchkeeping (STCW) conventions, more particularly STCW-95 set out by the International Maritime Organization (IMO). All these necessities are scrutinized by our experienced staff who prepare all the documentations prior to the seafarer's deployment.

To all of you, Principals and Employers, we look forward to a very fruitful, lasting, and harmonious business relationship, and rest assured that our services shall always be at your disposal.
